Having a baby at home is not only a joy but also a great responsibility for the parents. In the midst of rising prices, from sending the child to school to getting married, the parents are worried about which financial problem is the biggest. At present many people take out a policy in a bank or LIC as soon as a child arrives so that the money is gradually collected and the child grows up and get together, although in Gujarat, if a child is born in your home, the government also helps when the child grows up. Is given, for which a special scheme is being run, the Valli Daughter Scheme.
Under this scheme, a total of one lakh ten thousand rupees is given to the beneficiary daughter. The money is given by the government in three different installments.
First installment: Assistance of Rs. 4000 / – when daughter reaches first standard
Second Installment: Assistance of Rs. 6000 / – when daughter reaches 9th standard
Third Installment: Assistance of Rs. 1 lakh for higher education or marriage when daughter reaches 18 years of age
Time limit:
It is to be noted that you will have to fill up the form for this scheme within the one year time limit of the birth of the child
Who will get the benefit:
You must be a citizen of Gujarat to avail the benefits of this scheme
It is also mandatory to have a bank account
The annual income of the daughter’s family should be two lakhs or less
Daughters born on and after 02/08/2019 are given benefits in this scheme
Taking the application form from the nearest Anganwadi and submitting it to the office of the concerned CDPO (Integrated Child Development Officer)

It is to be noted that a portal called Digital Gujarat has been created for online work of various schemes of Government of Gujarat and government offices in which this scheme will also be available online in the near future. Apart from this a lot of help can be obtained from this portal.
